People & Culture Advisor | 8-12 Week role - NFP sector

Tradewind Australia is partnering with a well-established not-for-profit organisation to recruit an experienced People & Culture Advisor for an 8-12 week temp contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative People & Culture team during a busy period, supporting leaders across a broad range of HR initiatives.

This is a true generalist role where you'll provide trusted advice, manage end-to-end recruitment and partner with managers on employee relations matters, helping to ensure positive outcomes for both staff and the organisation.

About the Role

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you'll be responsible for providing practical HR support across the employee life cycle, including:

- Managing end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles.
- Advising leaders on employee relations, performance management and workplace matters.
- Supporting managers through performance improvement processes.
- Providing coaching and guidance on people management best practice.
- Assisting with HR compliance, policy interpretation and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- Previous experience as a HR Advisor, People & Culture Advisor, HR Business Partner or similar generalist HR role.
- A Diploma or Bachelor's qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience managing recruitment, employee relations and performance management matters.
- Experience working within the not-for-profit, community services, disability or allied health sectors will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced workplace.

NDIS Screening Check, National Police Check

What's on Offer

- Immediate start available | 8-12 week temporary contract.
- $58-62/hr + Super | Weekly pay
- Full-time preferred, with some flexibility considered.
- Hybrid working arrangements, with approximately one day per week in the Malvern office.
