Overview
Accelleron is a global technology leader in turbocharging, fuel injection, and digital solutions for heavy‑duty applications.
Responsibilities
- Service Sales Delivery: Implement the service sales strategy, penetrate the installed base, promote service agreements, upgrades, retrofits and value‑add solutions, understand pricing mechanisms, prepare and review sales plans, and propose recovery plans.
- Volume and Profit: Use all available tools to analyse the installed base, identify and develop sales opportunities, and achieve volume and margin targets.
- New Opportunities: Generate sales leads and develop new market opportunities by analysing market trends and exploring potential services in existing and current markets.
- Customer Approach: Build sustainable, trustworthy relationships, understand customer requirements and regulations, register feedback accurately and time‑suitably, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Sales Process: Sell the full service portfolio to expand the company’s footprint, prepare service offerings based on customer needs, communicate contract details, and manage administrative sales processes.
- Marketing: Act as a brand ambassador during marketing activities such as trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Health, Safety and Integrity: Contribute to risk assessments,
register required information, ensure technical reliability, safety and cost‑effective solutions, and comply with all company health and safety directives.
Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification (degree) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- 3‑5 years of services sales experience, ideally in the power plant and/or marine sectors.
- Experience in turbocharging and/or engine services sales is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of the company’s relevant tools and methodologies for professional service delivery.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and phone systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to prepare high‑quality PowerPoint presentations and comfortable with public speaking (internal and external).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Swahili and French is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Valid driver’s licence, own transport and passport.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned geographical territory.
