- Design and deliver coal and waste plans for 7 truck and shovel fleets and associated dumps.
- Complete short term haulage analysis and planning for daily and weekly plans.
- Advise on pit sequencing to minimise equipment interactions.
- Identify and mitigate plan risks, minimising production disruption.
- Complete field leadership activities with a focus on geotechnical and vehicle interaction risk.
- Ensure short term alignment with medium term and long term schedules.
Qualifications
- A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Bachedlor of Engineering degree (Mining, Civil) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a large open pit mine (preferred).
- Sound understanding of value drivers in large open pit mining operations and how these apply to planning decisions.
- Familiarity with Volcan or Deswik CAD packages.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
