Experienced Electrical Engineer

Location: Sydney, NSW

Join a state of the art technology company at the forefront of industrial automation and control systems. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team, working on the design, build, and maintenance of electrical control systems and switchboards/cabinets for industrial and automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, program, and maintain electrical control systems using CODESYS
- Design, build, and wire control panels and cabinets to relevant Australian standards
- Read, interpret, and produce electrical schematics and circuit drawings
- Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs across electrical systems and control panels
- Ensure all electrical work complies with AS/NZS standards and workplace safety regulations
- Collaborate closely with electronics, power electronics, firmware, and chemical engineers to deliver integrated system solutions
- Support installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical and control systems on site and in workshop
- Prepare technical documentation,



including wiring diagrams, test reports, and manuals
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvements

Key Skills

- Strong hands on experience with CODESYS programming and PLC integration
- Solid understanding of electrical circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting
- Experience with control panel and cabinet design, wiring, and layout
- Confident reading and producing electrical schematics and drawings
- Sound knowledge of AS/NZS electrical standards and safety regulations
- Experience with automation and industrial control systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving ability
- Ability to work cross functionally with electronics, power electronics, firmware, and chemical engineering teams
- Positive written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant electrical engineering qualification, licence, or trade certification
- Full working rights in Australia
