What You’ll Do

- Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get to know them and understand their goals and routines.
- Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan.
- Medical supports: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
- Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
- Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision-making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.
- Cultural humility: Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being.

Who We’re Looking For

- A person-centered, warm, patient, and genuinely caring soul.
- Interest or experience in complex care, disability, and health nuances.




- Great communicator: listens well, reads cues, and adapts to different styles.
- Reliable and professional, with good note-taking and teamwork.
- Flexible and adaptable; comfortable with changing needs and shifts.

- Additional competencies required: Manual Handling, Acquired Brain Injury, Medication Administration, Changed Behaviour, Mealtime management, Complex Bowel Care, Severe Dysphagia Management.

Available Rosters

LINE 5 - 69.5 hours per fortnight

Week 1

- Tuesday 4pm-9am (sleepover - 9 hours active)
- Wednesday 5pm-10am (sleepover - 9 hours active)
- Friday 9am-6pm

Week 2

- Monday 5pm-10am (sleepover - 9 hours active)
- Wednesday 9am-5:30pm
- Thursday 3pm-11pm
- Friday 3pm-11pm
- Saturday 11am-8pm
