About the role

At Cbus, we’re committed to delivering strong outcomes for our members and that means keeping their data, systems and investments secure. We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead our enterprise-wide information security and resilience strategy and function.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the CISO is a key member of the Technology leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing an organisation-wide information security and resilience strategy and building organisation capability.

Key Responsibilities

- Continue to shape the enterprise information security and resilience security strategy aligned to business objectives
- Provide leadership to the information security and resilience program
- Lead the information security function and uplift the organisational design and capability
- Lead the governance frameworks and risk management approach
- Provide expert advice to the Executive,



Board and committees on information security risk
- Oversee security architecture, controls, policies and standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and industry best practice
- Lead cyber incident response and crisis management activities
- Build and lead a high-performing information security team

About You

Ideally you will have 15+ years’ information security leadership experience with demonstrated experience in leading through change and building high performing teams.

Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments is key to set you up for success and enable you to bring the best outcomes for our members.

It is expected that you will have a deep understanding of information security frameworks and risk management.

You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and achieve outcomes.

You will enjoy being part of a team and working in an workplace of continuous improvement.
