Job Title
Psychotherapist / Behaviour Support Practitioner
Location & Salary
Full time Permanent in Sydney. Salary 85,000–100,000 AUD.
About the Role
As a Psychotherapist/Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will provide education and support to NDIS participants and families, including evidence‑based assessments and interventions. You will work autonomously, as well as within a multidisciplinary team, to ensure participants achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate education and support services to NDIS participants
- Collaborate with other health professionals and NDIS-related entities
- Provide high‑quality, timely reports that meet participant and stakeholder needs
- Maintain accurate records, billing, and invoicing
- Regularly update stakeholders on participant progress
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders
- Traineeship opportunities available
About You
You are compassionate, conscientious, and possess strong communication and time management skills. You are ready to work both independently and as part of a team to deliver outstanding support.
Essential Criteria
- Psychotherapist registration (or eligibility to register)
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Passion for supporting diverse clients and their families
- Completion of NDIS mandatory orientation module
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Satisfactory criminal record and working with children check
- Valid Australian driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in clinical settings working with individuals with disabilities
- Familiarity with the NDIS framework and processes
