Senior Principal - Accounting & Finance at Perigon Group

Our client

Well known multinational group in the FMCG space, going through a period of change and growth. This role is newly created as they are looking to build out their local finance team. Role will collaborate with other regions including UK and US.

The role

This role is a key role, that will take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, projects,



while being highly visible and acting as a business partner across the business. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the below duties:

- Be part of the end of month close process and assist with improvements and process change
- Half year and yearly reporting to the ASX
- Drive financial reporting across the group and business units in line with local and international reporting standards
- Research complex accounting issues, prepare detailed analyses, and assess the implications of changes to accounting policies and standards.

About you

- CA/CPA qualified or near to completion
- First/second movers - Big-4 or mid-tier audit background is highly desired
- Outstanding communicator with a passion for driving change in a fast paced workplace
