Join us as our next Electro-Technical Officer (ETO)! DOF is seeking experienced and knowledgeable ETOs for current and future job opportunities to join our team. This role offers the prospect to work offshore and broaden your experience in the maintenance and operation of electrical and electronic systems on our highly specialised vessels.

Responsibilities

- Maintaining and administering all electrical, electronic installations, machinery automation, DP and navigation systems, as well as communication and network systems
- Ensuring the electronic equipment onboard is suitable and compatible with the vessel electrical supplies
- Checking electronic equipment and ensuring it complies with the regulations
- Managing a detailed log where all maintenance is recorded

Requirements

- Electro-Technical Officer certificate of competency (STCW regulation III/6) with a minimum of two years offshore experience
- Previous experience working in the offshore oil and gas industry on DP vessels, such as Platform Supply Vessels, Dive Support Vessels, Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels, Multi‑purpose Supply Vessels and/or Construction Support Vessels
- Hold a current AMSA and/or Norwegian medical or similar
- Hold a current BOSIET, CAEBS and MISC is preferred




- DP‑KPOS certified is highly desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with intermediate computer skills and knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting and technical skills with highly service‑mindful and solution‑oriented approach
- Ability to travel at short notice with Australian work rights

Location

This position will be based offshore in Australian waters with occasional opportunities internationally.
