Working within Perioperative Services at Epworth Freemasons, you can join our team on a full‑time, part‑time or casual basis as a Theatre Technician.

At Albert St. we offer flexible shift options such as later start times, half‑day shifts, and other arrangements to fit your needs.

You will be responsible for providing quality service with patient care, equipment handling and transport services while contributing to the overall performance of the operating suite.

Responsibilities

- Assist clinicians and team members with patient preparation.
- Prepare and maintain operating suite equipment.
- Provide safe patient transport within the operating suite and for interdepartmental transfers.

Qualifications & Experience

- Certificate III Theatre Technician qualification and above.
- Minimum 12 months clinical experience as a theatre technician in an acute operating theatre.
- Clear understanding and use of medical terminology.
- Understanding of, and ability to set‑up medical devices.

You are a good communicator with a natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients. Professional in your work, you have a strong attention to detail and are quick to learn and adapt.

Salary

The annual salary range for Theatre Technicians – AUD $66,995 to $73,037 + super + entitlements dependent on year level (prorated for part‑time).
