Clinical Midwife Consultant – WA Country Health Service (WACHS)
Location: Perth
Work Type: Casual, Fixed Term – Full Time, Fixed Term – Part Time
Salary: AUD 4 - 135,851 per year.

Position Profile
As part of a multidisciplinary team for the WACHS Command Centre, the Clinical Midwife Consultant (CMC) is responsible for providing clinical consultancy as part of the Midwifery and Obstetrics Emergency Telehealth Service (MOETS) within the assigned area of specialty across the WA Country Health Service and its regions.
Responsibilities include providing timely expert and advanced and complex midwifery advice and clinical support including cardiotocograph monitoring to regional health services using audio‑visual modalities; delivering concurrent fetal monitoring guidance; providing mentorship and role modelling for midwives; contributing to the advancement of the midwifery profession and maternal and newborn services; and enabling innovation and improvement in health service delivery.
