Our Mount Magnet Mining (MMG) operations include multiple open pit, underground, and satellite sites with a projected 17-year mine life. The hub includes a central processing plant that supports the wider regional mining portfolio, with major expansion and upgrade projects currently underway.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of site-based capital projects and infrastructure at Mount Magnet, from planning and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with site leadership, contractors and technical stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and aligned to operational and strategic objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Deliver small to medium scale capital projects from planning and design through to commissioning and handover
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and risk to achieve successful outcomes
- Lead contractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient execution
- Partner with the procurement and contracts team through to award and oversee commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle
- Drive project governance through reporting, forecasting and change management




- Partner with operational stakeholders to support commissioning and operational readiness
- Build strong relationships across site leadership, technical teams and external partners
- Champion a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement

About You

You are an experienced mining professional with a proven track record delivering capital projects from development and planning through to construction, commissioning and handover in an operational mining environment. You bring solid leadership capability, commercial acumen and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve safe and successful project outcomes in a dynamic environment.

You bring to the role:

- Demonstrated experience managing capital projects within a mining or heavy industrial environment, from concept through to handover
- Strong operational mining experience, including leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex project workstreams
- A formal qualification in Project Management
- Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification is essential
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to balance safety, cost, schedule and operational requirements to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose outcomes
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline would be preferred
