East Perth
Business Development & Growth Coordinator
Kwik Kopy Perth CBD
Perth CBD, WA
Part-time (or full-time)
Create connections. Build opportunities. Drive growth.
Kwik Kopy Perth CBD is looking for an energetic, positive, highly organised and commercially minded Business Development & Growth Coordinator.
This is a growth coordination role for someone who loves connecting with people, enjoys creating opportunities and has the discipline to ensure those opportunities are recorded, followed up and progressed.
You will work closely with our sales, design and marketing teams, as well as the business owner, to identify target customers, create new conversations, coordinate campaigns, manage prospect lists and ensure no worthwhile lead or opportunity falls through the gaps.
About us
Kwik Kopy Perth CBD was established in 1997 by Anthony and Shahna Nixon.
We are an established design, print and signage business with strong in-house capability, a loyal customer base and an excellent online and Google review presence.
We help businesses with graphic design, corporate print, signage, displays, large-format production, branded materials and project work.
Our internal standard is simple:
We Make Possible: Quality Quickly, Together.
About the role
Your role is to create structure, momentum and accountability around business growth.
You will help:
- identify target businesses and decision-makers;
- research industries, companies and opportunities;
- make introductory calls and send personalised emails;
- build relationships through networking and local connections;
- coordinate targeted business-development and marketing campaigns;
- support the sales team with research, prospect preparation and appointments;
- manage target lists, leads and follow-up activity;
- monitor quotes and opportunities to ensure agreed actions occur;
- identify lapsed customers, stalled opportunities and cross-selling potential;
- support signage, design and print growth opportunities;
- prepare and deliver introduction, welcome and thank-you packs;
- maintain accurate information in PrintSpeak and other systems;
- use email, online research, software and AI tools to identify and develop leads; and
- provide simple, useful reporting on growth activity and pipeline progress.
You will not replace the sales team, and you will not be responsible for preparing estimates or managing jobs.
Your job is to help create the opportunities, connections and follow-up discipline that allow the sales team to perform at its best.
About you
You will genuinely enjoy connecting with people.
You will be comfortable:
- picking up the phone and starting a conversation;
- writing warm, professional emails;
- attending networking events where appropriate;
- meeting potential customers;
- following up confidently and professionally;
- asking questions and uncovering opportunities; and
- supporting others to succeed.
Just as importantly, you will be administratively strong.
You will enjoy:
- keeping systems and lists accurate;
- managing follow-up dates and next actions;
- researching businesses and contacts;
- learning new software;
- using CRM and sales systems;
- working across email, spreadsheets and online platforms; and
- using AI and digital tools to improve research and productivity.
This role requires both sides.
It will not suit someone who enjoys networking but dislikes administration.
It will also not suit someone who enjoys administration but avoids the phone.
Experience
You may have experience in:
- business development;
- sales coordination;
- account management support;
- recruitment;
- real estate or property services;
- professional services;
- customer success;
- marketing coordination;
- CRM or pipeline administration; or
- another role combining people, systems and follow-up.
Experience in print, signage or design would be helpful, but it is not essential.
The right attitude, communication ability, curiosity and organisational discipline matter more.
What success looks like
Success in this role will include:
- building strong, positive working relationships with the sales team;
- identifying quality target businesses;
- finding relevant decision-makers;
- creating new conversations and appointments;
- generating qualified opportunities;
- ensuring leads are responded to promptly;
- ensuring quotes and opportunities are consistently followed up;
- maintaining accurate CRM information;
- completing and measuring campaigns; and
- visibly improving the quality and value of the sales pipeline.
Why join us?
You will join a positive, ambitious business with experienced people, broad in-house capability and plenty of opportunity.
You will have the chance to:
- help shape a newly created role;
- contribute ideas and see them implemented;
- use modern technology and AI;
- build relationships across the Perth business community;
- support a capable sales team; and
- help create structured, sustainable growth.
This is a role for someone who gets genuine satisfaction from creating connections, opening doors and helping the people around them succeed.
Hours and location
The role is based at our Perth CBD centre and works closely with the team in person.
We are open to:
- approximately 20–25 hours per week;
- flexible arrangements for an exceptional candidate.
- Some work from home flexibility
Some local travel may be required for networking, introductions and business-development activity.
How to apply
We are looking for more than a standard résumé and generic cover letter.
Kwik Kopy Perth CBD has a strong website, significant online presence and an excellent Google review profile.
Before applying, we strongly encourage you to take some time to learn about our business, our customers, our capabilities and what appears to make us successful.
We would value your application including:
1. Your résumé
Please provide an up-to-date résumé outlining your relevant experience.
2. A brief cover letter
Tell us why this combination of connecting with people, coordinating growth and maintaining strong administration appeals to you.
3. Your growth observations
After researching Kwik Kopy Perth CBD, briefly outline:
- what you discovered about our business;
- three practical growth opportunities you would explore;
- who you might target;
- how you would start those conversations; and
- how you would coordinate those opportunities through to the sales team.
Your ideas do not need to be perfect.
We are interested in how you research, how you think and how you turn information into action.
4. Bonus points: a short introductory video or personal spiel
You are also welcome to provide a short video of approximately 60–90 seconds introducing yourself.
Tell us:
- what interested you about this role;
- what you enjoy about connecting with people;
- how you balance outgoing communication with solid administration;
- one growth opportunity you noticed while researching our business; and
- why you would enjoy helping a sales team create connections, build opportunities and drive growth.
A simple phone recording is perfect.
We are interested in your communication, energy, curiosity and commercial thinking, not your video-production skills.
Please provide the video as a private link that can be viewed by our recruitment team.
If providing a video presents an accessibility or personal difficulty, an audio recording or written response may be provided instead.
If this sounds energising to you, we would love to hear from you.
This is an in-person role based at our Perth CBD centre and is not suitable for remote or offshore work.
Applicants must currently live in Perth and have unrestricted working rights in Australia. We are unable to offer relocation assistance or visa sponsorship for this position.
