Salary: $140,000 — $220,000 + Super (Negotiable based on experience)

Vectura Recruitment is seeking experienced General Foremen, Structural Foremen, and Finishes Foremen to join well-established construction builders on a full-time, permanent basis. You will supervise and coordinate works across multiple tier 1 multi-residential and commercial projects in Gold Coast or Brisbane. This is an opportunity for an experienced foreman to own a key stage of the build—whether that's structural works, general site operations, or finishing trades—with strong support from experienced site management teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate trade subcontractors across your area of responsibility—formwork, steel fixing, concreting and structural steel (Structural Foreman); all trades and site operations (General Foreman); or finishing trades including plasterers, painters, tilers, joiners and flooring (Finishes Foreman)
- Coordinate planning, hold point sign offs and oversee works in line with project specifications and methodologies
- Produce and communicate programs for works under supervision in line with project methodology
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and Australian Standards
- Manage quality control, defect identification and rectification, ensuring standards meet specification and client expectations
- Monitor and enforce WHS requirements across all operations, including working at heights and lifting operations
- Plan and sequence activities to maintain the construction program and coordinate crane, hoist and material bookings as required
- Liaise with the design team, consultants and clients to resolve design, documentation or quality issues
- Supervise labour,



plant and materials for your package of works
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and step in to support Site Manager as required

Skills & Experience

- 3 or more years of experience in supervision on multi-residential or commercial construction projects (Structural, General or Finishes Foreman experience)
- Robust knowledge of construction methods relevant to your specialism—concrete, formwork, steel fixing and structural steel (Structural); all trades and site operations (General); or finishing trades and installation methods (Finishes)
- Capacity to coordinate and oversee labour and manage multiple subcontractors
- Relevant trade or tertiary qualification highly regarded
- Working at Heights, White Card and relevant plant or rigging tickets highly regarded
- Proven ability to lead and create positive culture in delivery of high-quality construction
- Strong leadership, communication and subcontractor management skills
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly around setout, tolerances and quality standards
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to work extended hours as required
- Confident, practical communication style on site and with clients
