Incident Response Officer

- Salary Security Officer Grade 2 $1255.60 p.w. plus penalty rates plus super
About the role
- Respond to alarm activations and calls for assistance that are received from security systems in schools
- Provide advice in regard to a range of incidents that may be reported by schools
- Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare skilled, well written reports in regard to incidents that have occurred
- Use a computerised database to record clear and accurate details of incidents
- Work effectively within a small team to meet stakeholder expectations where workloads may be unpredictable
- Complete related administrative duties.
- Rotating shifts 7 days a week: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am (penalty rates apply)

School Infrastructure is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.

About you
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Hold a valid NSW Drivers Licence
- Availability to work a 38-hour week rotating roster
- Experience in working is a security control room environment would be desirable.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.
