In this role, you'll:
You’ll contributes to the overall customer experience by managing the delivery of light rail services under the Sydney Light Rail (SLR) PPP contract through effective and efficient management of this service contract to provide integrated, safe, reliable, customer focused and efficient services and which deliver Transport’s customer and commercial outcomes.
You’ll provide executive leadership of the operator relationship and internal contract management framework, ensuring contractual obligations, service performance requirements, compliance standards and government priorities are achieved through effective governance, assurance and performance monitoring.
You’ll lead the management of contractual, operational and commercial issues,
including major service disruptions, performance risks, disputes and escalation matters, ensuring timely resolution, informed decision-making and effective stakeholder engagement to minimise customer and network impacts.
This permanent position is located in our Elizabeth Street office in Sydney CBD. The role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation’s Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance at the Elizabeth Street office and approved remote working.

About you
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or relevant experience, you’ll have demonstrated experience, you’ll have proven experience in contract management, developing and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships to meet stakeholders’ expectations and partnering with service providers to drive performance, manage risk and achieve outcomes.
You’ll have thorough knowledge and understanding of the statutory and regulatory framework that underpins quality regulatory services and excellent problem solving, analytical and highly developed communications skills.
You’re a self-starter, know how to build strong relationships, collaborate and communicate effectively to drive outcomes and are comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where delivery on tight deadlines is critical.
