We're looking for someone to join our team as a Marketing & Social Media Assistant, producing engaging short form content that helps promote our brand across platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

The role involves planning, filming, directing, and editing vertical video content. You'll also contribute ideas that support brand awareness and help create engaging content across a range of social media platforms.

You'll need a valuable understanding of short form content, with an eye for editing styles, pacing, hooks, and visual storytelling that keeps viewers engaged. We're looking for someone who enjoys creating content and staying up to date with current social media trends.

This is a casual, in person role with flexible hours. Applicants must be available to work on Fridays, with additional shifts offered on other days as required. The role is well suited to a university student or emerging marketing professional looking to gain practical experience alongside their studies.

Additional responsibilities may be introduced over time, with training provided where required.

Applications without examples of previous content, social media accounts, or portfolio material will not be considered. If you've only created content for your own personal social media accounts,



this is completely fine to submit.

Requirements:

- Experience creating vertical video content using an iPhone (or similar device)
- Ability to plan and film content for editing
- Ability to edit content in a way that maintains visual interest and audience attention
- Understanding of editing styles, pacing, hooks, and visual storytelling for short form content
- Must provide examples of previous work, social media accounts, or portfolio material

Desirable:

- Experience using CapCut or similar editing software
- Experience using the Blackmagic Camera App
- Experience using an iPhone for content creation
- Experience creating UGC or influencer style content
- Own reliable transport

Pay: $34.00 per hour
