Production Worker – Job Description (Food Manufacturing)
As a Production Worker in a food manufacturing facility, the responsible for supporting the efficient and hygienic production of food products according to company standards and food safety regulations. This role involves hands-on work across various stages of the production process to ensure quality, consistency, and on-time delivery of finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production line equipment safely and efficiently.
Assemble, pack, or label food products in accordance with production specifications.
Weigh and measure raw materials accurately before mixing or processing.
Inspect products for quality, defects, or inconsistencies, and report issues to supervisors.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in work areas, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP standards.
Assist in loading/unloading raw materials or finished goods.
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
Skills and Attributes:
Robust attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.
Physically fit, capable of standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Reliable, punctual, and a good team player.
