The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business & Data Analyst to join Storage King’s Data, Analytics & AI team. This role supports our technology, transformation and data strategy by combining business analysis with data analytics to deliver insights, reporting solutions and process improvements.

Reporting to the Data, Analytics & AI Manager, you’ll partner with stakeholders across the business to support technology initiatives, improve decision-making and deliver meaningful outcomes that contribute to Storage King’s continued growth.

Key responsibilities

- Gather, analyse and document business requirements, user stories and process maps for technology and transformation initiatives.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications while supporting the IT demand intake and prioritisation process.
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards, SQL queries and reporting that provide insights into business and store performance.




- Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Support user acceptance testing, process improvements, data quality initiatives and change activities.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve business processes and documentation.

What you'll bring

- 2 - 5 years' experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst or similar hybrid role.
- Experience building trusted relationships with business stakeholders and confidently presenting insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced SQL skills and demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reporting to provide insights into business and store performance.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake is highly regarded.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience with Jira, Microsoft 365, Power Automate or Python is advantageous, along with exposure to retail, multi-site or transformation environments.
