Acacia Fine Jewellers is a proudly independent jewellery store in the heart of Bowral, specialising in fine gold jewellery, diamonds and precious gemstones, along with custom design, remodelling and quality jewellery repairs.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Retail Jewellery Salesperson to join our team.

This is an opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys jewellery, people and providing a high level of personalised customer service. You will be working with customers who are often making meaningful purchases for engagements, weddings, anniversaries and special milestones, so building trust and creating a memorable experience is at the heart of the role.

About the role

You will be responsible for:

- Providing warm, personalised and professional customer service
- Assisting customers with the selection of fine jewellery, diamonds, gemstones and watches
- Guiding customers through engagement ring and wedding jewellery purchases
- Building genuine, long-term relationships with clients
- Preparing quotes and assisting with custom jewellery enquiries
- Managing customer follow-ups and maintaining strong client relationships
- Processing sales and payments accurately
- Maintaining beautiful, organised displays and a high standard of presentation
- Assisting with jewellery repairs, remodelling and custom design enquiries
- Working closely with our jeweller and wider team to provide a seamless customer experience

About you

We are looking for someone who:





- Has previous experience in jewellery retail or a premium/luxury retail environment
- Has a genuine interest in jewellery, diamonds and gemstones
- Is confident discussing products and guiding customers through purchasing decisions
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is warm, polished and professional in their approach
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
- Is confident working independently while also being a supportive team member
- Is organised, reliable and attentive to detail
- Understands that selling fine jewellery is about building trust, not simply making a sale

Jewellery qualifications or gemmological knowledge are highly regarded, although we are also open to someone with robust luxury retail experience and a genuine passion for learning.
