We're looking for an experienced Boilermaker/Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Meadowbrook on an 8 week contract.
You'll be working in a modern workshop alongside an experienced team, fabricating high quality metal products used across a range of industries.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys workshop-based fabrication, takes pride in producing quality work and is available to start immediately.

Duties and responsibilities

- Fabricate and assemble structural steel and metal components from drawings
- Perform MIG welding to a high standard
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans
- Operate fabrication equipment including guillotines, presses, saws and grinders
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area

We are looking for someone with

- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker
- Strong fabrication and MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working in a manufacturing or heavy fabrication workshop
- Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
- Available to commence immediately
