What you’ll do
As a Trainer in our team, you’ll support our team with course preperation and administration, as well as deliver our industry specific, job ready programs across areas such as:
- Digital & business skills - computer basics, digital literacy, business support, customer service, retail, and preparing for employment
- Hospitality - bar and gaming service, casual dining, cafe and casual dining, food production essentials.
- Cleaning & Housekeeping - commercial cleaning, health and hygiene, housekeeping and industry readiness.
- Horticulture - practical skills for entry-level horticulture roles
- Construction & Renewable Energy - Construction sector essentials, workplace safety and solar/tech readiness
- Warehousing & Production - warehousing, pick packing, food manufacturing and process work.
These courses give learners the chance to take a small step toward big opportunities - building confidence and hands-on skills to become job-ready and achieve meaningful change through employment.
What you’ll bring
- You’re a qualified Trainer (TAE40116 or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience delivering engaging training and supporting others to succeed.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate broad courses and processes.
- A collaborative approach, great people skills and an ability to build and develop relationships.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with a knack for solving problems and improving processes.
- Recent industry experience in any of:
- Digital & Business
- Hospitality
- Cleaning & Housekeeping
- Horticulture
- Construction
- Warehousing & Production
Additional Requirements for our Trainers
- Training is delivered at various locations across Victoria, requiring travel. You’ll need your own car to transport equipment (e.g., warehousing gear, café machines, training materials). Some interstate travel may also be required.
- Trainers must be able to lift up to 20kgs as part of transporting and setting up equipment.
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
