About the Role We’re looking for 3 reliable and hands-on Farmhands to join the team at a poultry facility in Bargo.

This is a unique, practical role where you’ll be working closely with animals and learning specialised skills used in contemporary farming.

One part of the role is turkey artificial insemination (AI)

Put simply, this means helping the breeding process along. Because modern turkeys are very large, they often can’t breed naturally — so trained workers safely assist to ensure eggs are properly fertilised.

What You’ll Be Doing

- General farmhand duties
- Feeding and caring for turkeys
- Vaccinating birds
- Collecting eggs




- Assisting with turkey breeding (AI) with full training provided
- Cleaning and maintaining farm facilities

What You’ll Need

- Availability for day shift, including occasional weekend work
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport (no public transport access)
- To meet quarantine requirements (no birds, pigs, or chickens at home)
- Good physical fitness (turkeys weigh approx. 15–20kg)
- A reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn Previous farm or animal experience is helpful, but not essential
