Key responsibilities

- Develop and lead preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to maximise plant uptime
- Monitor, analyse and report on equipment reliability and asset performance metrics
- Plan and coordinate shutdowns, ensuring minimal disruption and safety compliance




- Collaborate with production, technical, quality and operational teams to improve reliability and reduce downtime
- Lead, develop and coach the maintenance team, fostering a results driven and safety conscious culture
- Manage contractors and external service providers, ensuring adherence to site standards and safety regulations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and energy efficiency projects

Requirements

- Proven maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in plastics or injection moulding
- Strong knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance systems, with experience in automation and robotics
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple stakeholders
- Sound understanding of Australian WHS legislation and safety best practices
- Ability to operate effectively in a high volume, 24 hour environment
