About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Solar Installer Helper / Labourer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in solar, roofing, construction, or general labouring who wants to build a long-term career in Australia's rapidly growing renewable energy industry.
Working alongside experienced solar installers, you'll assist with residential solar installations while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with residential solar panel installations
- Carry and lift solar panels, mounting rails, and equipment
- Support roof-based and ground-based installation activities
- Run cables and prepare installation materials
- Load and unload tools and equipment
- Maintain clean, organised, and safe worksites
- Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) procedures
- Work efficiently as part of a team
Skills & Experience
To be successful, you'll have:
- Some experience in solar installation, roofing, construction, or general labouring (preferred)
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials
- Confidence working at heights
- A strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
- A current Australian Driver Licence (essential)
- Your own reliable vehicle (essential)
- White Card (preferred) or willingness to obtain one
