Do you love creating memorable experiences, connecting with people, and bringing a venue to life? We're looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and organised Event Coordinator & Promotions Coordinator to join our team at our funky, heritage-listed Fremantle venue.

With its character-filled spaces, warm atmosphere, and vibrant community, our venue is more than just a spot to eat and drink—it's where people gather to celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories.

About the Role

This is a agile, hands-on position where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for coordinating events from enquiry to execution while developing exciting promotional campaigns that showcase everything our venue has to offer.

You'll work closely with our management, kitchen, and front-of-house teams to ensure every event is delivered seamlessly and every guest leaves with an exceptional experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Coordination

- Respond promptly to event enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- Meet with clients to understand their vision and tailor event packages.
- Coordinate weddings, birthdays, corporate functions, community events, live music, and private celebrations.
- Prepare event schedules, run sheets, and function details.
- Liaise with suppliers, entertainers, decorators, and clients.
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure flawless event delivery.
- Be present during key events to oversee smooth operations and provide outstanding customer service.

Promotions & Marketing

- Develop creative promotional campaigns that drive bookings and increase venue awareness.
- Manage and create engaging content for social media platforms.
- Coordinate photography and video content showcasing the venue, food, drinks, and events.




- Promote seasonal menus, live entertainment, themed nights, and special events.
- Build relationships with local businesses, tourism operators, and community groups.
- Assist with email marketing and promotional material.
- Monitor campaign performance and suggest current ideas to grow the business.

Customer Experience

- Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the guest journey.
- Build lasting relationships with clients and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain the venue's warm, welcoming, and community-focused atmosphere.
- Handle enquiries professionally and efficiently.
