The Role

An excellent career opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join our fast paced, growing and highly regarded Commercial Disputes team in Brisbane.

You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of disputes, often involving multiple stakeholders, technical legal issues, and commercial sensitivities. You’ll be trusted to develop and complex case strategies, work closely with other team members, our clients and Counsel to achieve outstanding results. The role also involves supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to the team’s development, and helping maintain our collaborative, client-focussed and high‑performance culture.

Beyond the legal work, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to business development, thought leadership, and client relationship management. Who We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will have the following:
Between 5-7 years' experience in a broad range of commercial disputes from a highly recognised mid or top-tier firm/practice

Experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitrations is desirable

Excellent technical skills and commercial judgement

Demonstrated experience in mentoring and supervising junior lawyers

Strong communication and people skills, and ability to build and maintain client relationships

Partnership aspirations with a proactive mindset and genuine interest in business development
