KEY POINTS : Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and priming. Apply paints, varnishes, and sealants to various surfaces. Follow workplace health and safety procedures while working on projects.

MAIN DUTIES:

Preparing surfaces by scraping, sanding, filling, and priming walls, ceilings, and woodwork. Applying interior and exterior paints, varnishes, stains, and sealants.

Mixing and matching paint colors as per client or supervisor requirements.

Repairing minor surface defects such as cracks, holes, water damage, and uneven surfaces.

Using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other painting tools safely and efficiently.

Protecting furniture, floors, and fixtures using drop sheets and masking techniques.

Following workplace health & safety (WHS) procedures at all times. ·Working on residential, commercial, and renovation projects.

Cleaning work areas and tools after job completion.

Reading and following job instructions, plans, and schedules.

Must have experience in sanding, cutting and rolling.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Certificate III in relevant qualification with 2 years of on-job training or Certificate IV.

At least 1 year of experience.

Should be hard working.

Must be polite and team worker. Salary - $76,515 plus super. Only eligible and shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per hour
