About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants, empowering them to achieve their goals, maintain independence, and enjoy meaningful lives.
Your duties may include:
- Personal care and manual handling
- Community access and social support
- Domestic assistance and meal preparation
- Medication assistance
- Transport to appointments and activities
- Supporting participants with complex needs and behaviours of concern
- Building positive, professional relationships with participants and their families
- Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation
What We're Looking For
Minimum 1 years' experience in disability support (preferred)
Experience supporting participants with ASD, behaviours of concern, and personal care
Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Driver's Licence and reliable insured vehicle
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, person-centred approach
Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
