At Traintopia, we bring the ultimate mobile train track experience and birthday party setups directly to train-loving kids & their families. We are looking for an energetic, trustworthy, and organised Event Host & Van Driver to run our weekend parties end-to-end.

If you love working with kids, owning something end to end with good judgement, and take pride in running seamless events, this is the perfect flexible weekend role for you!

The Role

You will be the face of Traintopia on shift! Each weekend shift is typically around 5 hours (morning or afternoon) on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Your main duties include:

- Drive & Deliver: Safely drive our company van loaded with equipment to the event location.
- Setup & Pack Down: Set up our custom train tracks and play areas before guests arrive, and pack everything away safely after the fun ends.
- Host & Supervise: Oversee the play area during the party, ensure equipment is used safely.
- Equipment Care: Bring equipment/batteries home to charge ready for the next shift (all charging handled easily via home setup).

What We’re Looking For

- Drivers License:



Full Australian Driver's License with a clean driving record (comfortable driving a commercial van - a standard automatic HiAce).
- First Aid: Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain before starting).
- Working with Children Check (WWCC): Valid WWCC (or willing to apply).
- Personality: High energy, punctual, extremely reliable, and great with kids and parents.
- Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting and setting up play equipment and train tracks (with training).

Pay & Benefits

- Great Weekend Rates: Fully compliant with the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award 2020 (Grade 3).
- Saturdays: $34.96/hr
- Sundays: $46.85/hr
- First Aid Allowance: $0.59/hr
- + 12% Superannuation
- Paid Door-to-Door: All driving time, setup, supervision, and pack-down are fully paid working hours.
- Supplies Provided: Company van and T-shirt provided.
- Great Schedule: Weekend shifts (around 5 to 10 hours total across Saturday/Sunday, working with you on availability), leaving your weekdays completely free.
