Driver – ESS Defence

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to join our team at Blamey Barracks. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role is responsible for transporting Defence personnel in line with operational requirements.

The Role

- Transport APS and ADF personnel to and from local Defence establishments on scheduled routes
- Provide interstate and local transport support for training activities
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Complete accurate records and documentation
- Operate autonomously while complying with all safety and operational procedures
- Communicate effectively within a team-based environment

What We’re Looking For

- Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
- Minimum Class C Driver Licence
- Working With Vulnerable People clearance (or willingness to obtain)




- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
- Strong focus on safety and teamwork
- Reliable with good communication skills
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends when required
