We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our growing team. This full-time role, based in Epping VIC, is integral in securing premium Australian timber and essential materials to uphold our quality standards and support seamless project delivery. You will be a key player in growing the Greenwoods story.

Main Duties

Developing and implementing a sustainable procurement strategies and plans aligned with company growth targets.

Running full end-to-end purchasing workflows from supplier sourcing, order creation through to invoice processing following company internal rules.

Updating and overseeing our recording system to track all procurement transactions, supplier profiles and contracted pricing data.

Collaborating with Warehouse staff to optimise storage processes, tracking timber and finished goods stock movement, and scheduling stock replenishment to maintain stable inventory and prevent project material shortages.

Negotiating with suppliers to finalise contracts, pricing, delivery terms, balancing quality standards, cost control and reliable supply.

Communicating with internal teams (QC, Warehouse, Marketing, Business Development) and clients to confirm material requirements and sharing updates on goods and logistics arrangements.



Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to enhance collaboration.

Monitoring flooring industry market trends, price volatility, supply chain risks and relevant Australian industry compliance rules, and adjusting sourcing plans to avoid disruptions.

Overseeing pre-delivery material checks led by QC team, ensuring all goods meet Australian Building Codes and environmental standards before release to projects.

Leading the day-to-day supply chain team, assigning operational tasks, delivering regular performance feedback and driving consistent workflow efficiency improvements.

Compiling regular reports covering supplier performance, inventory efficiency and procurement KPIs, and presenting optimisation suggestions to the Director

Qualification & Experience

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a procurement or purchasing role.

Strong knowledge & experience of purchasing processes, contracts, commercial pricing.

Ability to analyze procurement data, extract insights, and make data-driven decisions.

Strong product knowledge or the willingness to learn about our extensive range of flooring options.

Solid negotiation & stakeholder management: ability to secure favourable terms while maintaining collaborative supplier relationships.

Problem-solver mindset: responding to sudden supply disruptions with practical, data-driven actions.

Excellent communication: clear, concise verbal & written skills for internal teams and external partners.

Pay: $130,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
