About the role:

Create special, rewarding relationships by providing regular support and living assistance to those in need within the community!

Our Robina Home and Community Service is seeking multiple Home Care Workers join our team on a permanent part - time and casual basis. In this role, you will offer essential assistance to clients, aiding them in daily tasks to maintain independence and comfort at home. Your responsibilities will include personal care, medication assistance, transportation, domestic duties, and assisting clients to meet social needs.

The pay-rate for these roles will range from $35.77-$44.92/hr depending on your experience and contract type.

Please note that there is a mandatory Friday availability needed if you are applying for the casual role.

- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively and sensitively with a range of clients, including those with challenging behaviours, or clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to organise and prioritise own work activities and schedules to meet established deadlines and achieve high quality work outcomes.




- Sound verbal and written communication abilities, including the ability to understand instructions, read and navigate road maps, comprehend care plans and communicate clearly and professionally with both clients and staff.
- Sound computer skills.
Knowledge and skills of safe food handling and preparation in line with current health standards.

Minimum qualifications required:

- Current National Police Certificate
- Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Services or equivalent
- Completion of Module HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication (or commitment to obtain)
- Completion of Module HLTAAP001 - Recognise healthy body systems (or commitment to obtain)
