Forgepoint Recruitment is hiring a Machine Operator for an established steel reinforcing manufacturer in Western Sydney. This is ongoing work on a reliable afternoon shift with a business that runs busy year-round - not a short-term contract.
The role:
- Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- $43.13 per hour + super - afternoon shift loading built into the rate
- Overtime paid at penalty rates on top
- Operating steel processing machinery in a production environment
- Machine setup, loading, running and quality checks
- Weekly pay, every week, on time
- On-site parking
What we're looking for:
- Machine operating experience in manufacturing or steel processing
- Rebar/reo processing experience highly regarded - OffCoil machines, shearlines, benders, mesh lines
- Ability to read job sheets and cut/process to specification
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to commit to a consistent afternoon shift
- Forklift licence (LF) an advantage but not essential
- Physically fit - this is hands-on steel work
