As demand for our recruitment services continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Senior Education Recruitment Consultant to join our team and help shape the continued growth of our recruitment division.

About the Role

This is a part time position (10–12 hours per week), initially offered on a 3-month contract, with the opportunity to become permanent as the business continues to grow.

The role has been created to provide additional support while one of our Senior Education Recruitment Consultants returns from maternity leave on a part-time basis. Initially, you will work alongside our existing Senior Education Recruitment Consultant, sharing a growing portfolio of recruitment assignments and helping us continue to deliver an exceptional service to schools across Australia.

This is a flexible, home-based role that can work around school hours, making it ideal for an experienced recruiter looking for genuine flexibility without compromising on the quality of their work or clients.

The hours can be worked across 2 or 3 days per week and will be agreed with the successful applicant. Due to the needs of the business, you must be available for at least four hours between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. The remaining hours can be worked flexibly.

As the business continues to grow,



you will have the opportunity to build and manage your own client portfolio, contribute to business development and play an important role in the future growth of Sure Step's recruitment division.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage education recruitment assignments from client brief through to successful placement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, candidates and education leaders.
- Source, interview and assess high-quality teachers, school leaders and executive candidates.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines across teaching and leadership disciplines.
- Deliver an exceptional recruitment experience for both clients and candidates.
- Identify opportunities to develop new business and grow existing client relationships.
- Represent Sure Step professionally within the education sector.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to achieve recruitment and business growth objectives.

About You

You will have:

- Significant experience recruiting within the Australian education sector.
- A proven track record of successfully placing teachers and school leaders.
- Experience managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.




- A genuine passion for education and delivering exceptional customer service.
