Carlo’s IGA is looking for a driven and passionate Retail Business Partner / Store Manager to take the reins of our Gilgandra store the only full-service supermarket in town and help shape its continued success.

The Opportunity

As the Store Manager of Carlo’s IGA Gilgandra, you’ll lead a passionate team, oversee day-to-day operations, and drive performance across all departments. You’ll be the face of the business, empowered to make key decisions and build your own legacy in a tight-knit regional community.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Lead all store operations to achieve and exceed sales, gross profit, and cost control targets
- Analyse weekly KPIs and financial reports to drive performance
- Maintain strong stock management and accurate pricing/ticketing
- Minimise shrinkage while ensuring top-tier product availability
- Coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing team
- Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and food safety compliance
- Build a positive, customer-focused, and compliant store culture




- Conduct regular audits to maintain safety and operational excellence

What We’re Looking For

- 2+ years in a supermarket/retail management role
- Solid leadership experience, ideally in food or FMCG sectors
- Proven track record of achieving sales and operational goals
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on, proactive approach
- High-level communication and problem-solving skills
- Passion for customer service and community engagement
- Financial acumen – ability to interpret and act on business data
- Availability to work weekends as part of a rotating roster
- Willingness to invest in the business and become a true partner
