Our Client, NNA Enterprises Pty Ltd trading as Indian Brothers Restaurant Annerley offers a unique dining experience, serving Indian cuisine in an elegant and stylish setting. All the dishes are cooked from local fresh produce ensuring a delicious and healthy to every customer that steps in.

They are looking for full time Cook for our restaurant to join our highly talented team. We are situated at 275 Ipswich Road, Annerley, QLD - 4103.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Cooking, Baking and grilling of meats and vegetables following proper recipes.

· Assisting chef in daily food operations and working under the supervision of the head chef.

· Examining food and products to ensure it is of highest quality.

· Cooking food as per the dietary requirements of the patrons such as food allergies.

· Receiving and storing stock in a clean place and temperature-controlled facility.

· Demonstrating safe work practices and adhere to Workplace health and safety regulations by cleaning and tidying the restaurant and kitchen using sanitizers, bleach, hot water, soap liquids etc.





· Checking whether the ingredients used for cooking are in accordance with recipe guidelines and are of good quality.

· Washing, cutting, peeling of ingredients including vegetables and meats for preparing cuisines.

· Organizing cooked meals in platter with positive presentation and right proportion.

· Using proper knife handling techniques, and cutting techniques for fruit, vegetables and meats appropriate to the style of cuisine.

· Assisting Chefs in planning and designing of menus

· Performing other activities such as training kitchen staffs

· Seasoning, Marinating, Roasting and Baking food as per the recipes.

· Stirring and mixing for making a variety of sauces for marinating and preparing various dishes.

Qualification and experience:

· Certificate IV in relevant field is required.

· The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in busy restaurant.

· Friendly, positive & approachable attitude.

· To be energetic & motivated.

· Able to work under pressure.

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
