Finance Manager | Mascot | 4 Days in Office | $135,000-$150,000 + Super

We are partnering with a highly successful ASX-listed organisation to recruit a Finance Manager into their high-performing finance team based in Mascot.

This newly created position offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with exciting expansion plans over the coming years.

You'll take ownership of financial reporting, leading a small finance team, and providing commercial insights that influence business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the month-end, half-year and year-end reporting processes,
- Prepare technical accounting papers and liaise with external auditors throughout the audit process
- Manage weekly financial reporting, reconciliations, margin analysis and cash flow forecasting
- Manage banking reporting, insurance administration and support finance transformation and business improvement initiatives
- Lead, mentor and develop a small finance team, including the Accounts Payable function
- Partner with operational and executive stakeholders to provide commercial insights and support strategic decision-making
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting, controls and finance processes

About You:

- CA or CPA qualified with Big 4 audit training and subsequent commercial experience




- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Reporting or Senior Financial Accountant position within a large or ASX-listed business
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience preparing statutory financial statements and external reporting
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor finance professionals
- Commercially minded with the confidence to partner directly with senior executives and challenge where appropriate
- Hands-on approach with the ability to move between detailed financial reporting and team leadership
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large ERP and reporting systems
- Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
