What you’ll do:
Operate Single & B-Double combinations to transport steel products across key customer sites
Transport steel products safely with strong awareness of load restraint
Ensure timely and effective pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
What you’ll bring:
Current HC or MC license with minimum 2 years’ Australian driving experience
Proven experience operating HC combinations
Strong understanding of load restraint guidelines (steel experience preferred but not essential)
Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
Ability to meet customer compliance KPI standards with accuracy and consistency.
