The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plant Mechanic with Hydraulic Experience to join our growing team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of plant and hydraulic equipment both in the workshop and occasionally in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on plant and equipment.
- Service and maintain hydraulic systems and components.
- Repair and replace hydraulic hoses, fittings, pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues efficiently.
- Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately.




- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Provide professional customer service when dealing with clients.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Trade qualification as a Plant Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Fitter & Turner, or similar.
- Proven experience working with hydraulic systems and components.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Current driver's licence.
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
- Welding and fabrication experience (advantageous).
