Credit Manager – Private Credit

We have partnered with a Private Credit lender who are looking to hire a Credit Manager. Working closely with the Directors, the successful candidate will be commercially minded, someone who can assess and execute private credit transactions, from initial screening through to settlement.

Key Responsibilities

- Screen new lending opportunities against credit policy and risk appetite
- Prepare commercially focused credit submissions for Credit Committee review
- Manage broker, borrower, valuer and solicitor relationships throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Liaise with legal counsel and settlement agents on execution timelines
- Maintain pipeline visibility and accurate transaction reporting

Essential Experience

- Background in commercial, development or private credit lending
- Robust grasp of real estate secured lending and transaction structuring




- Financial analysis and credit risk assessment skills
- Strong written communication for credit submissions
- Ability to run multiple transactions concurrently with high attention to detail
- Advanced Excel/MS Office skills

Highly Regarded

- Non-bank lender or private credit fund experience
- Existing broker network relationships
- Exposure to construction/development lending
- Credit Committee presentation experience
- CRM/loan management system experience
