About the job Dynamics 365 CE Senior Technical Consultant / Developer

Our client is looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Senior Technical Consultant/Developer who specialises in developing and maintaining custom solutions on the Dynamics 365 platform.

This is initially a 6-month assignment, with the possibility of at least one 6-month extension and will be based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, with hybrid working possible.

- At least Australian Permanent Residence working rights,

- At least 7+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).

Background:

Our client has implemented the Dynamics 365 platform and supported by the broader Microsoft Power Platform.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the APAC Microsoft Applications team and help continue to unlock the advantages of the Dynamics 365 technology suite, with a particular focus on D365 CE and the integration between it and Finance & Operations.

Essential skills required:

- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CE.
- A strong understanding of the Dynamics 365 platform and the broader Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Power Automate.
- Mandatory experience designing and delivering Power Pages portals.
- Proven experience configuring Dataverse,



including security and access controls.
- Demonstrated experience delivering solutions using Dynamics 365 Field Service.
- Hands-on experience with Dual-write – configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting data synchronisation between CE and Finance & Operations.
- Experience with programming languages such as X++, C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Consulting experience, including solution architecture, technical design, and stakeholder engagement across technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors or partners.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently on complex initiatives.
- Able to manage multiple priorities within a large, enterprise environment.

Highly desirable skills:

- Azure integration experience, including Azure Functions and Application Insights.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Familiarity with enterprise governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
