Remuneration - $71,550 to $76,000 commensurate with skills, experience and responsibilities.

Duties:

-Perform repairs and maintenance to tavern buildings and sheds.
-Operate hand and power tools.
-Maintain tools and ensure tools are stored in an orderly fashion and are kept in good working order.
-Maintain property gardens; weeding, pruning, lawn mowing and whipper snipping.
-Keep the site and facilities safe and tidy.
-Repair walls, doors, locks and windows.
-Repair tables, chairs, stools and benches.
-Painting and touch up work.
-Unblock sinks, toilets and drains.
-Pressure wash paths and outdoor areas.
-Use a leaf blower to remove dust, debris and leaves.
-Clean and/or replace air conditioning filters, light globes and other items.
-Collect and manage rubbish removal or collection.
-Other general basic handyperson tasks as required.

Essential:

-At least one year of full time work experience as a Handyperson.





-Driver’s licence.

-Can do attitude.

-Happy to live and work in remote locations.

-Fit to work in high temperatures and humid climates.

-Be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident

Desirable:

-Trades qualification.

Other information:

-Handypersons will work outdoors in extreme environmental conditions. Temperatures often exceed 40 degrees Celsius with high humidity. Applicants must be fit for work.

-Drug and alcohol testing may be conducted with zero tolerance for intoxication at any time.
