Life Mental Health have an exciting opportunity for an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker or Psychologist at our clinic in Woombye on the Sunshine Coast. We are specifically looking for a clinician who can take on referrals from our GP network and community providers with clients who will be utilising mental health care plans to engage in treatment. Therefore relevant qualifications and registration with a medicare provider number are necessary for this position.

At Life Mental Health we focus on delivering Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and offer DBT programs which include weekly individual therapy, group skills training sessions, phone coaching and therapist team meetings. We are looking for a current member for our clinical team who can support our growing case load of participants requiring regular and ongoing treatment. The position would suit a clinician who has experience with DBT or a new practitioner who is keen to learn from our experienced team. Our recent team member will have the opportunity to co-facilitate our 6-month DBT programs and provide individual therapy to our group participants.

While DBT experience is desirable, we are also keen to engage a clinician who may have experience in evidence-based treatment that can complement our DBT work with our participant group.



Importantly we are looking for the right fit for our collaborative team.

This role is a contractor position however there is also the option of salary packages to suit clinician's needs. Life Mental Health has strong values in professional development and offer ongoing training, and regular supervision (individual and group). Our new team member will take on a case load of mental health Treatment plan as well as NDIA funded participants. Pay: $63,512.00 – $115,224.00 per year
