As a Retail Security Officer based in Werribee, you will be a highly visible and approachable presence within the retail environment. You’ll play a key role in deterring theft, supporting store teams, and ensuring a safe and welcoming experience for customers. With professionalism and confidence, you’ll respond to incidents and contribute to maintaining a secure shopping centre environment.
Please note: To be considered for this role, you must be available to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.
About the Role
- Monitor foot traffic and proactively deter theft or suspicious behaviour
- Provide support to retail staff during challenging customer interactions
- Conduct regular patrols and maintain a solid, visible presence throughout the centre
- Operate CCTV, alarm, and access control systems
- Liaise with centre management and emergency services when required
- Complete accurate and detailed daily shift and incident reports
About You
- Previous experience in retail security or loss prevention
- Experience using CCTV and incident reporting systems
- Current VIC Security Licence
- Nationally Accredited First Aid and CPR Certificate
- VIC Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- VIC Working with Children Check (WWCC)
