DUTIES
- Providing detailed budget estimate preparation/ quotes for joinery, which would include interior fit-out, loose furniture, etc for mainly high-end commercial and residential projects.
- Working alongside our team, navigating design challenges and their effect on cost.
- Assisting in the production process by ordering materials and providing material procurement sheets to related parties
- Liaising with drafters, factory and clients and attending site surveys when required.
- Building relationships with key vendors (designers, builders, suppliers, sub-trades, etc.)
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar field
- Have a solid understanding and knowledge of joinery fabrication methods and material processes
- Be comfortable working in a technical environment.
- Be an articulate communicator and have an inquiring mind.
- Being able to understand technical drawings is essential
- Be organised and conscientious with a high level of quality control and attention to detail.
- Have a strong market knowledge of materials, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Be able to conduct research to obtain data on, materials, production times etc. Use our in-house software for data analysis and budgeting.
