Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Migration Agent, based in Parramatta, NSW. The Registered Migration Agent will provide expert migration advice and guidance to clients while managing visa applications and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Responsibilities include conducting consultations, preparing and lodging visa applications, assessing client eligibility, providing ongoing advice and updates, and maintaining accurate records of all interactions and client documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Visa Consultation: Provide qualified advice on Australian visa pathways, eligibility requirements, and migration strategies.
- Application Preparation: Assist clients in gathering, reviewing, and preparing supporting documentation to ensure complete and accurate visa applications.
- Visa Lodgement: Prepare and lodge visa applications through the Department of Home Affairs and relevant authorities in accordance with legislative requirements and deadlines.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on application progress and responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Compliance & Legislative Knowledge: Ensure all work complies with the Migration Act, Migration Regulations, OMARA Code of Conduct, and Departmental policy. Stay informed of changes to migration legislation and procedures.
- Client Representation: Liaise with the Department of Home Affairs,



skills assessing authorities, state governments, and other stakeholders on behalf of clients when required.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client records and case notes using practice management systems and ensure confidentiality of all client information.
- Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the business by delivering excellent client service and maintaining strong professional relationships.

Requirements

- Must hold a current Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA) registration.
- Freshly registered agents or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Sound knowledge of Australian migration legislation, visa categories, and application procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex matters clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Professional, ethical, and client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online migration systems, including ImmiAccount.
- Ability to adapt to changing legislation and a dynamic work environment.
