Corryong Family Bakery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Baker to join our friendly local team.

This role is suitable for someone who is passionate about traditional baking and committed to producing fresh, consistent and high-quality products for the community.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake breads, rolls, buns, scrolls and other bakery products.

- Measure, mix, knead, scale, mould and shape dough according to recipes.

- Manage fermentation, proofing, oven temperatures and baking times.

- Follow daily production schedules and ensure products are available on time.

- Finish bakery products with glazes, icings, toppings and other decorations.

- Check ingredients and finished products for quality and freshness.

- Maintain stock levels and store ingredients correctly.

- Follow food safety, hygiene and occupational health and safety requirements.

- Clean and sanitise bakery equipment, utensils and work areas.

- Support junior team members and contribute to an efficient production environment.

Requirements

About You

- Relevant baking qualification or equivalent experience.





- At least two years of relevant experience preferred.

- Robust knowledge of dough preparation, proofing and oven management.

- Ability to work early mornings and weekends.

- Excellent time-management and teamwork skills.

- Reliable, hardworking and committed to maintaining high standards.
