Join our friendly team at The Coffin Bay Hotel on the picturesque Eyre Peninsula in South Australia.

Our Hotel boasts a large front bar with 8 beers on tap, outdoor area, dining room bar, gaming room and takeaway bottle shop, catering for our beloved locals and a transient population of tourists. Our dining room is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. We also offer a courtesy bus pick up and drop off service within the local area.

All positions are casual roles with rostered shifts paid at award rates. Hours will vary depending on demand.

Our busy kitchen produces more than 200 meals per day during peak season.



This role will report to and work under our head chef. Our hotel offers an extensive à la carte menu for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Our daily menu includes a variety of local seafood, steaks & other meats, pizzas and a variety of weekly specials. This position requires experience running multiple fryers, cooking steaks to order and coordinating junior staff.

Requirements:

- Experience in a similar position
- Appropriate food handling certification
- Ability to work split shifts
- High level of communication
- Productive and reliable
- Integrity

Desirable (but not essential):

- Formal Qualification – Commercial cookery (or similar)
- Food safety supervisor certification
