Position Overview

Due to continued operational growth, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Stonemason to join our team on a full-time FIFO basis to Onslow, WA.

This role focuses on marble block extraction, cutting, shaping, surface finishing, engraving, and structural stone installation, as well as supporting workshop coordination and equipment maintenance.

Key responsibilities:

- Design and plan phases of stone block cutting, slab polishing, and carving graphics, emphasizing precision and quality.

- Utilize both machinery and hand tools to cut, shape, and polish stones and bricks to fit specific spaces.

- Arrange stone blocks in rows, patterns, and configurations, using mortar to create desired structures while ensuring precise vertical and horizontal alignment, removing excess mortar to maintain structural integrity.

- Perform repairs and maintenance on bricks, cement blocks, and related structures.

- Manage, repair, and maintain stone production equipment, including wire saw machines, rock drilling machines, engraving machines, and related hand tools,



ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

- Coordinate and develop production plans for the workshop, ensuring the efficient extraction and processing of stone blocks to meet final production targets for tiles, slabs, and flagstone.

- Ensure and enforce strict safety measures to ensure employees well-being during stone extraction and processing.

- Supervise and ensure that employees adhere to standardized equipment operation procedures.

- Provide comprehensive training and guidance to employees in the required stonemasonry skills, including stone block mining, special-shaped processing, polishing, and engraving.

Requirements：

- Proven experience working with marble or natural stone

- Knowledge of stone fabrication and installation techniques

- Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools accurately

- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials

- Attention to detail and quality workmanship

- Team player with good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications：

- Certificate in Stonemasonry or equivalent qualification in stonemasonry or stone fabrication.

- Valid driver’s license.

Employment Conditions：

-Full-time position.

- FIFO roster to Onslow, Western Australia.

- Annual salary between AUD $90,000 – $120,000 plus superannuation.

- Salary determined based on qualifications and experience.
